Trendy Paid Crochet Patterns and Tips for Craft Markets | KniftyLittleThing

Happy Friday, my friends!

Last week I highlighted the free patterns that are selling well for me this summer, and this week I’m highlighting paid patterns!

While I don’t personally have any crochet patterns published yet, I’m hoping to get a few out soon! You can check out my knit patterns here.

My #1 Seller: Turtles

I’m not new to markets, but I am new to crochet items at markets. Mainly I’ve learned that you gotta have a bunch of small items because those will sell the best.

These turtles from MelsCrochetShop on Etsy have sold like crazy! They only take me about 15 minutes tops to make and I can knock out several in an evening. They’re also great stash busters since they take so little yarn. They’re great impulse buys – at less than $10 it feels like less of a commitment than a $45+ lovey.

Della Duck

Della Duck by ShopModThreads has been a popular one more online than in person, but it seems like ducks are popular this year. I always sell the ones that I send to market! Della takes me approximately 2 hours to finish if she’s wearing a headscarf.

Purchase a finished Della here.

Bitty Bubbles

Bitty Bubbles from Raven and Jade is a smaller and slightly faster duck, which means I can make more of them in a shorter amount of time.

Jellyfish Popper

Similar to the mushroom poppers, these Jellyfish Poppers from Cable and Canvas are a fun little fidget toy with just a bit more “fidget” in them with the tentacles.

Stressball

These stress balls by johannamigurumi are such a fun idea and another kind of fidget toy that has been popular this summer. Making them actually inspired me to write my own fidget toy/stressball patterns and I’m hoping to share them soon!

*Note: If you get this pattern be sure to use the link to the stressballs that she lists on Amazon. I went rogue and got a different one not thinking about the fact that they were .25in smaller…I had to adjust everything. Don’t be like me.

I forgot to get a picture before sending mine to market…here is a screenshot instead.

Puppy

I’m picky about dog patterns and went through quite a few before I found this one.

This low sew puppy by SweetAsHoneyCo has always sold out and the color possibilities are endless – it’s just a bit more fiddly as it has more limbs and parts. You can also make it in a few shades of blue and it will look like a certain Australian cartoon dog.

Dinosaurs

Finally, the dinosaurs do well with both girls AND boys (can’t forget them!) and I’ve sold several of these in a plethora of colors. My daughter has also stolen claimed each type for herself as she is quite the dinosaur loving queen.

I want to hear from you!

Any patterns that I missed or that are selling well for you? I just purchased a chicken and a penguin and I’m interested to see how they go!

Happy making and I hope you can find a nice cool spot to work – it’s freakishly hot out there

(Disclaimer, I do earn a small commission if you use my links to purchase a pattern, but all opinions are my own and I have not been compensated for sharing them.)
