There’s just something about handmade, vintage loo There’s just something about handmade, vintage looking ornaments. It reminds me of childhood, the Christmas scenes from Lady & the Tramp, and just general nostalgia.I’m working on getting a whole bunch done before my Christmas market in two weeks, so naturally I was looking for cute patterns…pattern shopping and collecting is *almost* as good as yarn shopping haha.I’ve posted a cute list with links and pictures on the blog - check it out for inspiration and cute Christmas feels! Link in stories/highlights ✨P.S. thanks for Laurel @alabasterpurl for sending some suggestions, I love seeing what friends find too! What are your fave Christmas ornaments patterns??#diychristmas #christmastree #christmasornaments #knittinginspo #knittingblog #holidayspirit

Potentially unpopular opinion…it’s still fall, y’a Potentially unpopular opinion…it’s still fall, y’all. I LOVE Christmas but hearing Christmas music in Target today made my eye twitch a little.(No hate on those who have already put up their trees, we all need the joy where we can get it. I’m just not ready for autumn to be done and dusted yet!)When do you put up your trees?#knittersgonnaknit #knitbeanie #etsysmallbusiness #malabrigorasta #knitandbehappy #yarniesofinstagram
✨ Give your ideas a chance, sometimes they can bec ✨ Give your ideas a chance, sometimes they can become your best sellers! When I first saw this yarn I thought that maybe it would make a good pumpkin but hesitated at the price. Would other people even buy a pumpkin that’s over $20? The answer has been a resounding YES for four years now! Last year I added pumpkin kits so that other knitters could make one or two with the polyfil, stick, and yarn included and they have also been a hit. Turns out most people don’t need a 5lb bag of polyfil or basket full of stem-sized sticks. 🤪 I’ve been so glad to be able to offer this alternative to people who ask about the yarn, giving them a way to create one of their own without giving away my trade secret. 🤫 What have you taken a chance on that turned into a success? ✨
