Now that we’ve gotten some of the initial kinks of the new website ironed out, I’m starting to add some of my older patterns as free knit pattern (ad-enabled) pages!
Aside from the Super Bulky Pumpkin pattern that I published last year, all of my patterns in the past have been put out as paid ones, with success for some and not as much for others. I’ve been surprised many times at what has been popular versus what wasn’t!
Earlier this year, I decided to pivot in my business model after seeing (and using) many free patterns from makers that utilized ads on their sites and continued to sell a reduced-price ad free-pattern in their shops. Why not try that?
Over the next few months, I’m hoping to continue to release more free patterns as I work through old patterns and get updated pictures taken. This might take longer than I’d like as I’m still working through the recovery from wrist surgery, but as Aesop says, “slow and steady wins the race”.
