I’ve been on a hat streak lately and finished two this week! With the help of the Fair Isle Motifs book that I got from the library the other day, I learned this motif and added it to a basic hat shape and the result was this fair isle beanie for my husband! I’ve added a listing on Etsy so that when purchased, a custom hat will be made for each person’s size and desired color. Check it out here!

10 years agoIt’s a sweet little hat, but I think you might be twisting your knit stitches when you knit in the round. It’s more obvious on the white sections than the blue. But it’s why your in-the-round stockinette doesn’t look the same as your flat knitting.
