monday motivation
This week is already scheduled out the wazoo and I know it’s gonna be a challenging one…and so are the next few weeks after this. Added on top of (still) sharing a car with my husband while mine is broken and a combination of not much sleep and lots of running around this weekend, I’m […]

cables, anyone?
Love working and designing this cowl- it’s gorgeous! If there’s enough interest I may write a pattern for it! What are you working on this week?
dairy-free creamy pasta salad
While we were in the mountains last weekend, we had the most wonderful (and dairy-free!) pasta salad while in Frisco at the Butterhorn bakery. I couldn’t get it out of my head and was determined to make at least a comparable version. I miss the creamy things in life! Most of the dairy free and […]
yarn along no. 5 // multi-tasking
Well, I’m finally reading Harry Potter! I can’t even tell you how many of my family (my sister especially) are SO excited about this development…I’ve even promised my sis that I’d watch the musical with her. I’m also in the middle of 3 WIPs- more than I think I ever have been! I’m starting some […]

happy friday!
progress
I started the Optic Blanket last week and it’s coming along beautifully! I love that with each square you get the satisfaction of “finishing” something, whereas with a straight blanket you don’t get that until you finish the whole thing. What are you working on this week?
hello, old foe
It turns out that you can’t knit like a machine, practice for a violin duet, and type grants out the wazoo with a history of tendonitis and not have it return. Such a bummer! I had it for about a year in high school following my participation in the pit orchestra, normal orchestra and violin […]
lavender farm!
We were in the Salt Lake area for my husband’s family reunion last week, and decided to take a little detour to Young Living’s Lavender Farm since we aren’t in the area very often! I wanted to see it because of my own love for Young Living…and who wouldn’t want to go smell a ton […]
